Abbey is a New York City based actress.  Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she has a BFA in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Dance from Millikin University.  She was most recently seen as Velma in West Side Story at Barrington Stage Co. with original choreography reproduced by Robert LaFosse, and shot an episode for the hit Amazon show, "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel".

Abbey was also a five year member of the Resident Acting Company at the Barter Theatre in Virginia.  There, she performed over 35 shows including Kost (Cabaret), Eponine (Les Misérables), Randy (A Christmas Story), Lois Lane (Kiss Me Kate), Avenue Q (Lucy T. Slut), Georgia (Curtains), Doris (Miracle on 34th Street), and Beth (Little Women).  

Other credits include Cassie (A Chorus Line, Kirkland Fine Arts Center, Original Choreography), Ms. Polanski (Promises, Promises, Stages St. Louis), Lottie Ames (Mack & Mabel, Surflight & The Bickford), Young "Margie" (Follies, Little Theatre on the Square, with Ann B, Davis and Joan Roberts), Victoria (Cats, McLeod Summer Playhouse, Original Choreography), and Tammy in the first regional production of Hairspray at the Little Theatre on the Square, directed by Greg Graham.  

Abbey has studied dance at the Debbie Reynolds Studio in Los Angeles, Gus Giordano Dance School in Chicago, and Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in New York City.  She has performed for Stiletto Entertainment, and sang and danced her way around the world with Holland America Cruise Line.  In addition to performing, Abbey is an ACE certified group fitness instructor for Equinox .  She lives in NYC with her husband Byron, and dog Appa.
